The National Dairy Development Board of India (NDDB) has developed a special e-GOPALA application for farmers. Its web version was launched by the country’s Minister of Fisheries, Livestock and Dairy, Parshottam Rupaloy. The new app promptly provides dairy farmers with all the information they need about the condition of their cows. This allows them to increase the productivity of milk producing animals. Local edition of The Economic Times writes about it.

Genuine Kubota spare parts and licensed aftermarket can be ordered from AGA Parts. We supply spare parts for heavy machinery at competitive prices. Timely delivery to 140 countries is organized with the involvement of transport companies or international mail.

It is noted that the information is received in real time. An IMAP web portal was launched along with e-GOPALA application.

Rupala said that NDDB is engaged in introducing and promoting technology in milk production in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intention to build a “Digital India”. The Minister of Fisheries, Livestock and Dairy stressed that farmers will be able to increase their income by making all processes more responsive. It is primarily about the speed of obtaining data on the status of animals.

NDDB chairman Minesh Shah said e-GOPALA is a platform that helps farmers manage their animals. He noted that it can buy and sell biomaterial in all forms (semen, embryos, etc.). The app also tells farmers when they need to feed and start treating their animals.

In addition, the developer has provided a mechanism for notification of vaccination dates, diagnosis of pregnancy and others. There is also a mechanism for informing farmers about various state support schemes.
